Learn How To Build A Raspberry Pi Games Console with PiJuice
If you’ve been following Pi Supply over the last few months, you’ll have noticed that we’ve been extremely busy with three Kickstarters: PiJuice, PaPiRus, and Pi PoE.
Each of them are unique, and have a variety of useful applications. When we were promoting the PiJuice module, we decided that having specific project guides for people to use would be a great idea.
One of the Projects we decided to make with a PiJuice was a Raspberry Pi Games Console. It took us some time to hack this together, but once we completed it we had a fully functioning games console that was a lot of fun to play with! There are plenty of games you can load up and play on it.
The reason why we chose to use PiJuice with the Raspberry Pi Games ConsoleĀ is because it’s an integrated battery that is designed for the Raspberry Pi. Consequently, it means that you can make projects that are simple, tidy, and there’s no need to worry about lots of wires, charging cables, etc.
Here are some of the finished pictures below, showcasing our creation.
As you can see, it definitely was a hack to put this together. However, that’s the beauty of the Raspberry Pi! Plus, it feels satisfying once you have made a project like this by yourself, and when it’s complete and working!
Now that we’ve made this games console, we want to help you to make one too!
